A typical day on safari?

Days usually start at 5am with an early morning game drive, followed by breakfast/brunch late morning. Relax during the midday heat or perhaps a spa treatment or swim. Afternoon tea is followed by a game drive with "sundowner" drinks followed and then dinner. If your lodge is within a private reserve or concession, then an evening nocturnal game drive may be included. Night game drives are not allowed in national parks in Southern Africa and generally close a 6pm. Okavango lodges offer land-based (game drives) or water-based (mokoro) activities.
