Itinerary
Day One - Depart Johannesburg

You leave Johannesburg on a mid-morning flight

Day One

You experience your first intriguing glimpse of the Victoria Falls from the air before you touch down at Victoria Falls Airport. You are met and transferred to your hotel. You have the rest of the day at your leisure to explore the town or enjoy the many activities and attractions on offer (for guests own account).

Day two

After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of the Victoria Falls, one of the seven natural wonders of the world. With a width of 1.7kms, the Falls have the capacity to push 550 000m3 of water per minute over the basalt cliff into the Zambezi River Gorge. The cliff over which the falls thunder, transforms the Zambezi from a placid river into a ferocious torrent, cutting through a series of dramatic gorges. Later this afternoon, you'll experience the other-worldly grandeur when you board a cruise boat for a sun downer cruise along the Zambezi River, in search of hippo, crocodile and elephant in their home environment. Remainder of the day is at leisure. [B]

Day Three

Road transfer to Chobe National Park, located in the north east of Botswana, flanked by the Okavango Delta and Moremi Game Reserve. When in flood, the Zambezi River pushes the Chobe River back on itself and links with the Linyati River, forming a biosphere that is very unique in Africa. The Park is home to 450 bird species and Africa’s largest concentration of elephants combined with magnificent wildlife sightings. Overnight in the Chobe National Park area. [BLD]

Day Four

Thrilling game drives in open safari vehicles lead by professional, qualified guides bring you close to hippos, buffalos, puku and other animals that gather on the banks of the Chobe River. After experiencing the magnificent Chobe National Park you will be taken back to your lodge for lunch. Later in the afternoon, after a siesta, enjoy afternoon tea with the Chobe River as a back drop before departing for your afternoon game viewing activity. Overnight in the Chobe National Park area. [BLD]

Day Five

After a sumptuous breakfast you transfer by road to Victoria Falls Airport for your return flight to Johannesburg. [B] You arrive back in Johannesburg.
