Fly south over the great escarpment to the vast belt of sand dunes of the Namib Desert.

Day One

Enjoy a nature drive this afternoon. Overnight in the Kulala Wilderness Reserve near Sesriem. [LD)

Day Two

Travel to Sossusvlei and the world's highest dunes by vehicle and explore the gorges of the Sesriem Canyon. Overnight near Sesriem. [FB]

Day Three

Fly along the Atlantic coast line to Swakopmund. Overnight in Swakopmund. [B]

Day Four

Discover the wonders of the desert on a half day Living Desert Tour. You have the afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Swakopmund. [B]

Day Five

Fly north along vast plains of Skeleton Coast and past steep mountains to Damaraland, where the plane will stop to refuel. A short flight takes you to your lodge situated in the Ongava Game Reserve at the entrance of the Etosha National Park. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Ongava Reserve (time permitting). Overnight in the Ongava Game Reserve. [BD]

Day Six

Enjoy an early-morning game drive in the Etosha National Park. Return to the lodge for lunch. This afternoon, depart on a guided walk or game drive in the Ongava Game Reserve. Overnight in the Ongava Game Reserve. [FB]

Day Seven

Enjoy an early-morning safari activity and breakfast before boarding your return light aircraft flight back to Windhoek. [B]

Day One & Two

KULALA DESERT LODGE

A short distance from the towering dunes of surrounding Sossusvlei, Kulala Desert Lodge looks out over the stark and panoramic landscape of the Namib Desert. Well-furnished, thatched and canvas en suite chalets are expertly constructed to catch the cool breezes coming off the desert. You can also choose to sleep under the glorious Namibian night sky and have bed rolls placed on the flat top roof. Between game drives you can relax at the lounge and plunge pool. The desert truly comes alive on excursions led by expert guides.

Day Three & Four

BRIGADOON GUEST HOUSE, SWAKOPMUND

Situated just 200 metres from Swakopmund’s main beach, this guesthouse offers stylish en suite rooms with all modern conveniences and a private patio overlooking a peaceful, lush garden. Excellent restaurants, a heated swimming pool and many places of interest in the town are within easy walking distance.

Day Five & Six

ANDERSSON'S CAMP

Located in the Ongava Game Reserve, the big game viewing at Andersson’s Camp is spectacular throughout the year. Tents are constructed from a mix of stone cladding, canvas and wood with small veranda’s and en-suite bathrooms. A renovated farmstead forms the nucleus of the lodge and guests can enjoy fine meals and great views of the scenic landscape. Andersson’s close proximity to the Etosha National Park make it the ideal jumping off point for game drives in this abundant region.
